  • “He’s a great contestant!! Funny and humble!!” an Instagram user gives Isaac Hirsh a beaming compliment.
  • Likewise, another person compares him to a fan favorite from the 2023 Masters. “The most charming contestant since Sam Buttrey!” Sam made his way into fans’ hearts with his lovable personality and fun. While Sam let fans know he is often compared to the actor Steve Martin, his on-screen nature made him a favorite.
  • “I love this guy!”

Isaac Hirsch Seems To Be Running Out Of Steam

While Isaac Hirsch is kicking butt and taking names with his current streak, some Jeopardy! fans fear the dreaded game fatigue is catching up with him. Both Adriana Harmeyer and Drew Basile faced undeniable exhaustion in the filming streak during their winnings. Understandably, even Drew’s high energy was diminishing as he surrendered during his final round. Some think that Isaac is falling victim to the same issue, noting his first four initial wins were landslide wins, but the next three were much closer games. On Reddit, some fans discuss the first six games.

  • “Isaac seems to be slowing down slightly in his last two games–his Coryat scores were $16,400 today and yesterday, compared to 22,000-25,000 in his first four games. I don’t know if it’s fatigue, stronger opponents, categories that aren’t as much in his wheelhouse, or some combination of the above. He’s also visibly deflating often when he doesn’t get in on a buzz attempt (or maybe if he can’t think of the response). He’s clearly a phenomenal player, but he’s looking more vulnerable than he did last week.”

Keep The Jokes Rolling

Undeniably, Isaac Hirsch is winning Jeopardy! and fans’ hearts with hilarious Q&A stories. Furthermore, his talents as a former stand-up comedian are peeking through. Both funny and smart, Isaac is making Jeopardy! even more enjoyable for fans.

  • One Instagram user says, “Protect Isaac at all costs how is he so effortlessly funny.”
  • “I don’t recall any contestant having such a run of funny and/or charming anecdotes.”
