Mama June: Family Crisis critics were livid when they heard that June Shannon got temporary custody of Anna Cardwell’s daughter, Kaitlyn, 11, and now she says that she’s giving her grandchild a “normal” life, they might sigh with frustration. Many WeTV fans feel that the best place for Kaitlyn would be with her half-sister, Kylee, and her dad, Michael Cardwell.
June Shannon Didn’t Give Anna Cardwell A Normal Life
Mama June: Family Crisis fans fear for Kaitlyn because Alana Thompson’s mom ran off with Geno Doak and blew a lot of money in casinos and on drugs. WeTV viewers felt their hearts melt with sorrow when they saw Alana crying over the abandonment. Long before Anna Cardwell passed away, she accused her mom’s then-partner, sex offender, Mark McDaniel of molesting her.
June Shannon denied that she later got back with him after his release from prison. Still, the damage was done to Anna who spent part of her life raised by her grandmother. Mama June critics also believe that June Shannon and her new husband might be back on drugs. So, they think there’s hardly anything normal about being raised by the couple.

Anna Cardwell Made No Provision For Kaitlyn – June’s ‘Normal’ Life
WeTV fans are furious because Kaitlyn was separated from her sister. Determined to fight for custody of the child, many critics hope the judge in the case gets to see some of the footage of her grandmother over the years. Meanwhile, others wonder about her motivation, thinking she sees Kaitlyn as a way to get more money.
On the show, Mama June fans saw that Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efrid wanted Anna to sort out custody of the kids. And, June Shannon had said that fans would see everything play out. However, in a recent interview with E! News, June “revealed that Anna didn’t sign any paperwork formalizing Kaitlyn’s guardianship.”
Quite frankly, many critics believe that June Shannon tells lies. Well, critics might become even more heated because Kaitlyn’s grandmother told the outlet:
We took on the responsibility of an 11-year-old—making sure that she gets to school and making sure that we make life as normal as we can for her. Also just getting into a routine ourselves and trying to keep the consistency with Kaitlyn because that’s what she needs—structure and consistency.
Fans might think those are big words from Mama June Shannon, especially as Alana seldom had much “structure and consistency.”
The WeTV star also told the outlet that she thinks life is unfair because she “shouldn’t be raising Kaitlyn.” Possibly, many Mama June critics will agree with that statement. However, she also said, “Anna should be here raising her children. It’s not fair for any of us that Anna’s gone, especially for her children.”
