Did Mama June’s eldest child, Anna Cardwell really film her custody plans or her daughter, Kaitlyn Shannon? Anna has two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee but the former does not have a biological father in her life and never did. Did Anna Cardwell Really Film Custody Plans For Kaitlyn?
One of the hardest parts of this season of Family Crisis is seeing Anna Cardwell’s cancer battle. The doctors are adamant she thinks about her kids and what will happen in the worst-case scenario. As of filming, they said she could live five to ten years at most. Therefore, Mama June and Anna’s sister, Pumpkin want her to start planning custody arrangements. Her youngest, Kylee would go live with Anna’s ex-husband as that is their one child they had together. However, Kaitlyn was born when Anna was just a teenager with no biological father around.
She was raised by Michael Cardwell, Anna’s ex and he still takes care of her financially. Mama June has said Anna’s wishes will play out on cameras but her main wish is to not deal with any of this. Michael has filed for custody of Kaitlyn and with the court date approaching, a Reddit thread was started. The OP asked this:
- The custody battle for Michael and June is this month on the 16th and Anna hasn’t been in the past couple of episodes( understandably so). But so far from what June claimed, Anna mentioned on Camera that she wants her mom to raise Kaitlyn. June said that the world would hear it from Anna‘s mouth and we haven’t heard anything.
So, what did followers think would happen? Would they hear anything?
- Why would she want her girls separated. Michael has always been Kaitlyn’s father and the only one she knows. Splitting those sisters up is just cruel.
- I agree but she really should have “gotten her affairs in order” like pumpkin kept talking about.
- I think if she does say it June pressured her into it .
Anna Too Medicated?
A few followers made the argument that Anna Cardwell may have been too medicated during the custody situation. Therefore, a judge does not have to listen to anything that Mama June has to say. More so, some feel that June only said Anna’s truth would come out so viewers would tune in. It is unclear what will happen so time will tell when the court date arrives. There is footage of family members being absolutely awful to Kaitlyn on camera. If that is brought in, this may be all in Michael’s favor.
