Anna Cardwell had claimed, many years back, that she and her daughter, Kaitlyn, never received money from their time on television. They had appeared on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo but Mama June withheld payments. She also sued TLC but eventually gave up as it was costing more than it was actually worth. Now, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is in the same boat. She needs money for college to go along with her scholarship so she asked June to dip into her Coogan account. By Alana’s calculations, there should be six figures but there is just $33K remaining.

June claims that taxes took 50% and the rest was used to help pay for Alana’s essentials since she was twelve but no one is buying it. Alana and Pumpkin asked why she did not set up savings accounts for the girls since Coogan accounts are not used in Georgia. A Reddit thread was started to talk about this and how June alleged she had savings accounts for the girls about a decade ago. Per a People article from 2015, June maintained she deposited money right into the girls’ accounts without ever seeing a dime.

June has taken from her kids but then she made it seem like she was paying for their futures. In reality, they paid for each other without consent or knowledge. That is a bitter pill to swallow.
