Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is finally airing a new mystery. Moreover, they are introducing a new Signature Mystery Series, starring Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker. The first movie is called Curious Curator: Dying For Chocolate.
In addition to Walker (The 27-Hour-Day, Christmas Tree Lane), and DeLoache (Five More Minutes, Sweet Autumn), Easton Van B (Dil Rakh), Riley Davis (Batwoman, Personals), Jason Tremblay (Caught In His Web, Maid), Kendall Cross (My Christmas Family Tree, Aurora Teagarden), Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale, Peacemaker), and Jason Schombing (Chesapeake Shores, Time Cop).
This is director Anthony C. Metchie’s debut. Erinne Dobson (Love, For Real, The Nine Kittens Of Christmas), and John Christian Plummer (Mystery 101, Martha’s Vineyard Mysteries) wrote the script.
It should be noted that IMDb lists this movie as Dying For Chocolate: A Curious Caterer Mystery.

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Goldy (DeLoach), is a spirited single mom. Goldy is thrust into the role of town sleuth to help solve a friend’s mysterious death. With the clock ticking to find the culprit, Goldy strikes up an unlikely partnership with Detective Tom Schultz (Walker), who leans into Goldy’s local knowledge.
However, just as their relationship shows signs of becoming something more, the suspect list rises. Will Goldy narrow in on the killer before the killer narrows in on her?

On Tuesday, Nikki DeLoach shared a BTS selfie from her new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie, Curious Caterer: Dying For Chocolate. On Instagram, the selfie shows a streak of blood across her forehead.

Will There Be More Hallmark Curious Caterer Mysteries?
Sleuthers may wonder whether there will be more Curious Curator Mysteries on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Andrew Walker shared an Instagram post about Dying For Chocolate that may be a clue.

Mystery 101 fans may remember a Kristoffer Polaha interview with the Hallmarkies podcast in December. In that interview, he shared that viewership is key to the continuation of these mysteries. Andrew hints at the possible “partnership,” and how “you be the judge of that.” Could he mean that if fans watch, there could be more?
