Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has been reevaluating its mystery lineup. Although there have been several series axed, there has not been any news others. Therefore, Sleuthers who love Aurora Teagarden Mysteries are concerned that Haunted By Murder is the final move.
In addition, there have not been many mysteries in 2022, and nothing is scheduled for March. In comparison, HMM aired four new signature mysteries by the end of March 2021.

Is Hallmark Canceling Aurora Teagarden Mysteries?
Right before Hallmark Movies & Mysteries aired the premiere of Aurora Teagarden: Haunted By Murder, Candace Cameron Bure went to Instagram stories. There, she answered a cornucopia of questions. One question asked whether this was the last mystery in this series. CCB’s response was not terribly comforting.
Will this. be the last Aurora Teagarden? We hope not! We absolutely hope not.
She was not forthcoming on other any information. However, it should be noted that when she is working on a new movie, she always takes photos from the set. She has not been on set since Haunted By Murder.
Therefore, Sleuthers who have been keeping up with the Hallmark mystery series body count may be nervous for a reason.
What Other Hallmark Mysteries Have Been Canceled?
Hallmark has already canceled three Signature Mystery series. This includes Matchmaker Mysteries, Hailey Dean Mysteries, and Picture Perfect Mysteries. Currently, there is no word on the other mysteries.
However, last summer, Dylan Neal had shared that he is developing a new mystery series, but on the other side of the pond. Meanwhile, regarding the Gourmet Detective series, he shared that “Hallmark has my number.” That does not sound promising.
Last fall, Jesse Metcalfe has shared that Hallmark was reevaluating all of their mystery series. This was the first indication that the feel-good network was making a change. Therefore, this is why his Martha’s Vineyard series was on hold.
Candace Cameron Bure Explains Mystery Of Niall Matter’s Beard
One mystery that is solved is the case of Niall Matter’s beard. Sleuthers were very confused when they saw the promo for Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted By Murder. There was a heavily bearded guy. Moreover, once it was clear that this was not a new guy, but Niall Matter playing Nick, Aurora’s new husband.
In the Instagram story, CCB also addressed that.
I need to give you the scoop on the beard because many of you did not even believe it was Niall. You’re like, ‘Why does Aurora have a new husband? Where’s Nick?’ I assure you, it is Niall Matter. And the beard wasn’t the original plan, but Niall cut his face building something in his garage only a couple of days before we started filming. And he had a massive gash on his lip and chin and had about 25 or 28 stitches. He was fine but it was bad. So, instead of having a mangled face in the whole movie, he decided to grow his beard–which grows very, very fast.
Turns out, this was not a great mystery. This was a facial injury. Niall has the ability to grow a thick beard, quickly. Therefore, that is how he hid his injury.
