Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are starting Aurora Movie Mania on Valentine’s Day. They will run all 18 Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, including the latest, Haunted By Murder. What makes this movie so special is that it is the red-headed sleuth’s OG story. Moreover, this is when Aurora met Sally.

Adding to this special story is that Candace Cameron Bure and Lexa Doig’s real-life daughters are starring as their younger selves.

What do we know about Natasha Bure and Mia Shanks?

What Is Hallmark’s Aurora Teagarden: Haunted By Murder About?

First of all, what is Haunted By Murder about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, when Aurora (CCB) and her best friend Sally (Doig) were teenagers, they went into the “haunted” Crenshaw Mansion on a dare. However, this dare turned out to be their first dead body. It was in a secret room.

Fast forward 20 years and Aurora’s mother, Aida (Marilu Henner) has purchased the manor. However, she doesn’t believe it is haunted. Instead, Aida wants to renovate it and sell it. Moreover, weird things keep happening there. Now the Real Murders Club is investigating. Does the Crenshaw Mansion have more secrets?

Hallmark’s CCB Dishes On Her Daughter Natasha Bure

Hallmark star Candace Cameron Bure may be the Hallmark Queen, but, she acknowledges that her daughter Natasha Bure is not like her. However, Natasha did act with her mom in the movie Switched At Christmas. CCB played two roles, which meant that Natasha played both her daughter and niece.

Back in August, she spoke to The Heavy and revealed that her only daughter is a “different actress” from her. At this time, Natasha was filming the Lifetime movie, Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, along with Heather Locklear.

Moreover, CCB revealed that Natasha didn’t want to work with her mom.

She’s made a consorted effort to make sure that she does this on her own, she gets everything because she works hard, and not because she is riding on my coattails in any way, which is really why she doesn’t want to work with me.

Somewhere between August and December Natasha changed her mind. She is playing a younger version of her mom. Moreover, it should be very fun to see how she imitates her mother. But what does Candace think about this?

Who Is Newcomer Mia Shanks?

Newcomer Mia Shanks also gets to play a teenage version of her mother, Lexa Doig. Although this is Mia’s first role, she comes from a talented acting family. Besides her mom Lexa, her father is actor Michael Shanks. He starred in the legendary science fiction show Stargate-SG, as well as Hallmark’s Christmas Homecoming, and a whole slew of other fantastic roles.

Her mother, Lexa Doig is very proud of her daughter. She also revealed her feelings, as well as CCB’s on their daughters playing younger versions of themselves.

On Instagram she wrote, “Okay – this is a special one for me: My bunny @miatshanks is playing Teen Sally and she was amazing! Never acted before and slayed it like a pro ❤️ Check it out if you can 😊(@candacecbure and I might have been a 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 excited watching @miatshanks and @natashabure playing us 🤣)”

Are you excited to see their daughters play younger versions of themselves?
