Chesapeake Shores Cast Confused By Season 6 Rumors

Chessies may feel that hesitant right now. Although it does look promising that production has begun, many may remember how there were other Chesapeake Shores Season 6 rumors in early November. Moreover, the cast did not even know about it!

Back on November 4, Production Weekly posted a list of television shows and movies in production. They listed Chesapeake Shores (06). Fans wondered if this meant that this was a Season 6 confirmation.

However, stars of the Hallmark series such as Meghan Ory went to social media to question this report and tag Hallmark. “Hahah oh no #Chessies!! It’s so much drama! I’m so curious where this story came from. It should be a movie on @hallmarkmovie.

Also tagging Hallmark, Treat Williams posted on Twitter, “This is interesting.”

In addition, the cast was not aware of Chesapeake Shores Season 6. However, much of this publication did share correct information about other publications.

For example, The Wedding Veil: Tracy’s Story was one of the movies in production, according to this publication. That was the working title. This Hallmark movie was renamed The Wedding Veil Legacy, which just aired in Loveuary.

It should be noted that the February 24 Production Weekly also has Chesapeake Shores Season 6 listed. Therefore, there does not seem to be a dispute about an upcoming production of the Hallmark series.

That means two outside sources seem to confirm that Chesapeake Shores Season 6 is a go. However, when will Hallmark make a statement?

Chessies, do you think that Chesapeake Shores Season 6 will happen?

  1. IT WOULD BE NICE BUT I’M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH. HALLMARK HAS BEEN A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT THIS PAST YEAR CANCELING PROGRAMS AND CHANGING FORMATS. I’M AT A POINT NOW THAT I RARELY WATCH IT ANYMORE. IT USE TO BE MY FAVORITE CHANNEL.
