Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas is starting soon, and they are bringing in some Christmas magic with A Kismet Christmas.

What Is Hallmark’s A Kismet Christmas About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, Sarah Collins (Ramos) is a best-selling children’s book author. She grew up in a family that had a very magical legend. If you tuck one of her “Gramma Mia’s Kismet cookies under your pillow on Christmas Eve, you’ll dream of your true love.”
A long time ago, Sarah did just that. This resulted in her biggest heartbreak. Immediately after dreaming of Travis (Marks), her cute boy next door, he rejected her. She no longer believed in the legend of the Kismet cookies.
Sarah has now come back to her hometown. That just so happens to be where her biggest fan, Jasmine (Tupper) happens to live. Moreover, Jasmine won the Christmas contest. It turns out, Jasmine happens to be Travis’s daughter. Kismet?
Worst of all, When she sees Travis, Sarah starts to feel all of those emotions all over again! Determined, she decides to keep this pent-up inside. She is not about to let her heart be broken again. What makes this a bigger challenge is that the trio spends a lot of time together.
Meanwhile, Gramma Mia (Henner) realizes that her Kismet cookies are powerful. Although she has never made them since Sarah’s broken heart, she is encouraged by her old friends to make them again. Why not test the magic of the cookies?

The premiere of A Kismet Christmas is on Sunday, October 23, at 8 p.m., Eastern. Encore showings include Friday, October 28, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 5, at 4 p.m., and Monday, November 21, at 10 p.m., all times Eastern.
