Virgin River dropped its fourth season on Netflix on July 20, 2022, and once fans binge-watched the entire season, many wanted to know if there would be more. The good news for fans is that Netflix already decided to make more before even seeing how Season 4 did.

This means the crew will likely be shooting through the rest of 2022 and July 2023 is a good bet.

What is Virgin River Season 5 about?
Finally, what’s going to happen in the new season of Virgin River? Jack has been struggling with his PTSD from the war and was slipping into the bottle. Mel let him know what needed to be done, but he couldn’t cope until he found a therapist who finally helped him. His road to recovery won’t likely be an easy one, though.
Mel has also begun to grow closer to the new town doctor Cameron, and he seems to have strong feelings for her.
There is also a new paternity mystery — mainly, who is the father of Charmaine’s twins after she let Jack know it wasn’t him. There is also a new crime boss coming as a villain in Melissa Montgomery.
