Those Christmas movie fans who were waiting for Great American Christmas to premiere on October 29, don’t have to wait so long.
According to Great American Family’s Twitter, they will kick off Great American Christmas on Friday, October 21. This will start the season with holiday movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday. In addition, they will be airing Christmas movies all day and all night. This will last through the end of 2022.

Great American Family has already filmed two Great American Christmas movies. The first is starring the When Calls The Heart alum, Daniel Lissing, along with Merritt Patterson, in Catering Christmas.
In this movie, a caterer gets her big break with an exclusive holiday party. However, an event manager at the party doesn’t make this job very easy.
In addition, Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison have already filmed A Merry Christmas Wish. Originally, this was called The Christmas Farm.
In this Christmas movie, during the holidays, a big city woman is gifted with the family farm. A local farmhand now makes her rethink her priorities and returning to the big city.

Candace Cameron Bure Filming First Great American Family Movie
For fans that missed this news, Candace Cameron Bure left Hallmark for Great American Family. Moreover, that means that her upcoming holiday movie, A Christmas Present, will be the first for her new network.

Virgin River’s Dan Payne Filming New Great American Christmas Movie
According to SleepyKittyPaw, who posted on Twitter, Dan Payne (Journey Of My Heart, Scented With Love), who portrays Nate Brenner on Virgin River, will soon be filming a new Great American Family movie, Candy Cane Lane.
As that will start filming soon, we will soon know who his co-star is. We do know that Christie Will Wolf (A Dangerous Affair, Where Your Heart Belongs) will be the director.
