‘DWTS’ Season 31: Is A ‘Modern Family’ Star Joining The Cast?
Now that DWTS Season 31 is creeping closer, many fans are discussing which celebrity talent will join the cast this year. There have already been a few leaks, but the production team is doing everything in their power to keep the contestants a secret until the big reveal on September 8.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but some fans believe that a Modern Family star could enter the ballroom this year. Who might participate in DWTS Season 31?
DWTS Season 31 will feature a wide variety of colorful castmates
Although the production team is trying its best to keep celebrity contestants a secret, some big names have already been leaked. Entertainer Wayne Brady will reportedly join the cast this year, as well as singer Jordan Sparks and TikTok star Charli D’Amelio.
Now, The Sun reports that a Modern Family star may just step into the ballroom.
The pro dancers have already been matched with their celebrity partners, but they’re supposed to keep that all a secret for now. However, Peta Murgatroyd‘s recent selfie may have given fans a clue.
The Sun reports fans think that’s Modern Family star Ty Burrell at the side of the photo. The 55-year-old actor starred in the hit comedy from 2009-2020. He’s had other smaller roles since the comedy came to an end, but this would be great exposure for his career. And many fans would love to see Burrell back on the screen.

Which pros will return to the ballroom this year?
The celebrity cast list may be a secret, but the pro cast list has already been leaked online. Insider Kristyn Burtt shared all the juicy details on her blog. And sadly, a few familiar faces won’t rejoin Dancing With The Stars this year.
Lindsay Arnold and Sharna Burgess both opted to sit out in order to dedicate themselves to their families this year. Sharna just had a baby over the summer and Lindsay’s daughter will be two this year. It’s definitely not easy balancing parenthood and life as a pro dancer.
Sasha Farber will return, but has been moved to the troupe this year and won’t have a pro partner.
