The official DWTS Season 31 cast list doesn’t come out until September 8. However, that hasn’t stopped insiders from leaking cast information. Insider Kristyn Burtt recently put out the pro dancer cast list and continues to modify it as new information comes out.

Viewers have a pretty good idea of what the pro cast list will look like ahead of the new season. But which celebrities are going to join the cast? It looks like the production team is doing everything in its power to stop more leaks from coming out.

DWTS Season 31 will feature at least one TikTok star

According to The Daily Mail, the DWTS Season 31 production team is scrambling to keep their celebrity participants hidden from the public eye. Contestants have been showing up to practice in hoodies and full face masks. But that hasn’t stopped sleuths from unmasking a few of the participants.

Over a week ago, TMZ officially confirmed that TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and her mother Heidi would join the Season 31 cast. Kristyn Burtt reported that Joseph Baena, Daniel Durant, Jordan Sparks, and Wayne Brady would also compete. Some outlets report that The Bachelor star Colton Underwood is also competing this year.

The DWTS Season 31 cast list revealed that there would be 15 pro dancers this year. However, Sharna Burgess announced she planned to pull out of the competition last night, leaving 14 pros.

It’s currently unknown if Sharna already had a celebrity partner or not. There are four dancers in the troupe this year, so it’s possible one could step in and fill Sharna’s shoes if need be.

Who else do you think will enter the ballroom this year? If you could cast any celebrity, who would you pick? Be sure to leave your ideas in the comments below.

The season continues without a few familiar faces this year

Sadly, Sharna Burgess won’t be the only pro that opted not to return this year. Season 25 champion Lindsay Arnold also recently revealed she wouldn’t make it back. Both women decided to focus on their families and young children instead. However, they both added that they would like to return to DWTS someday. Sharna even said she would participate in DWTS Season 31 in some capacity. But being a pro dancer just wasn’t in the cards for her at the moment.

Fan-favorite Sasha Farber has also been demoted to troupe member this year, angering many fans. DWTS execs generally pair celebrity contestants and pros based on personality, so it’s possible they just didn’t have anyone to match with Sasha this year. It shouldn’t necessarily be taken as a slight against the Australian dancer.

Check back for more updates on DWTS Season 31. There will be new information to share very soon.
