Everything You Need To Know About Tony & Ziva ‘NCIS’ Spinoff
One of the biggest storylines for fans came with the growing relationship between Tony and Ziva. However, thanks to Cote de Pablo leaving the show, and then Michael Weatherly departing, this love story never had a satisfying ending for fans. Even when de Pablo returned, Weatherly was gone and fans were left wanting.
That will change with a Tony and Ziva NCIS spinoff series coming to Paramount+. Here is what you need to know.
Tony & Ziva Finally Getting NCIS Closure
For years, fans watched NCIS to see if Tony DeNozzo and Ziva David would finally get their happy ending. It never occurred. Instead, Ziva seemingly died and left Tony with their child he never knew existed. Tony left after Season 13, taking the child and going to Paris, as he never believed Ziva was dead.
That led to Season 16 when it turned out Ziva was alive and returned for a story arc in Season 17. There was one problem. Michael Weatherly was now starring on Bull and couldn’t return to NCIS. Ziva went through her entire story without ever appearing with Tony on screen again. In Season 21, Tony returned for the Ducky tribute episode, but Ziva was not there.
It seemed they would never get their last moment together on screen for fans to see a satisfying finale for the couple that never had a happy ending. That has changed now. Tony and Ziva are reuniting in an NCIS spinoff series on Paramount+ and will finally get their moment in the sun.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva Coming To Paramount+
The NCIS spinoff is getting a perfect title. It will be known as NCIS: Tony & Ziva, and that news is straight from Tony and Ziva themselves. Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo had a video where they teased the show’s title, by first suggesting NCIS: Europe and then NCIS: Trust No One.

They then mentioned they would be shooting the show this summer and take place in Europe. The show will feature “intrigue, romance, the background of Europe, impossible situations … but somehow a little something about love.”
CBS announced the spinoff in February and revealed that it will have 10 episodes in the season. While it shoots this summer in Europe, expect it to debut late in 2024 or at the start of 2025. This will be the first time Tony and Ziva have appeared on NCIS at the same time in 10 years.
The plot sees Tony and Ziva raising their daughter, Tali, when Tony’s security team is attacked and they have to go on the run, while figuring out who is after them.
