‘Teen Mom’ Maci Bookout Slammed With Over $100K Tax Lien

Teen Mom Maci Bookout Slammed With Over $100K Tax Lien
This season on Teen Mom: Family Reunion, Maci Bookout and her husband, Taylor McKinney are working on their communication. Though they have a pretty solid marriage, there are things that they could be better at. They know how to work as a team and are good parents but admittedly, they struggle to communicate with one another and that is detrimental. Now, they have a newfound respect for one another and know it is the little things that matter in their relationship. Unfortunately, one big thing has just hit the Teen Mom stars and it is a lot to deal with.
Maci has been hit with a massive tax lien and this is not the first one. According to In Touch Weekly, the mother of three owes $150K in federal taxes just for 2024. She allegedly has two tax liens, one at $49,383.00 and the second at $105,346.00. This is per paperwork that was filed back in February of 2024. For the second lien, Maci’s husband, Taylor is also listed but she is the only one responsible for the first lien. Her tax issues are not new as they date back several years.

Back in 2014, it came out that Maci Bookout owed the IRS over $78K dating back to 2011 which has since been paid. Then, in 2017, it was revealed that she owed $12,569.00 to California. Finally, in 2023, she owed $14,227.00 so this appears to be an ongoing problem. As for her Teen Mom salary, Distractify shared that the mothers make around $250 to 300K per season. The fathers also bring in an income, as well so this should help her pay her debt off quite quickly. However, the bigger question is why she keeps ignoring her debts so they get to this point.

Fans noted that Maci is lucky that MTV keeps the show going so she will always have a paycheck. They also questioned how she could remember to pay her bills if she was always partying. Yet, Taylor McKinney was also listed so there are two people responsible.
