RHOSLC Heather Gay Admits She Sold Out After Taking Ozempic

After the RHOSLC Season 4 reunion, Heather Gay appeared on WWHL. She looked drastically different and no one could figure out what it was. Her face was visibly slimmer, her cheekbones were higher and plumper, she was tinier and appeared to have new teeth. It was very shocking and hard to believe she was the same person. Andy Cohen did not ask if she had anything done or bring up her new glow but now, the secret had been revealed. The Bad Mormon author hopped on the Ozempic train, full steam ahead.

According to Page Six, she opened up about her journey on Impact x Nightline with Deborah Roberts. There, she revealed her drastic physical change was the result of Ozempic. Heather had this to say:

“I’ve sold out, I’ve given up the banner of you know, accept yourself. And it’s disappointing and sad to know that body positivity was all a big lie. It is better not to be overweight.”

She went on this journey due to knowing many people taking Ozempic. They praised the drug which is intended for those with Diabetes. Eventually, Gay grew tired of being overweight and being mocked for her weight. “I didn’t want to show up at another party and see all of my friends 20 pounds thinner and just be resentful.”

Now that she has hopped on the bandwagon, one that includes Oprah Winfrey, Dolores Catania, and Kelly Osbourne, Heather Gay’s life has changed. She shared what it is like when she walks into a room and sees people:

“I started to feel seen for the first time — even after being on television, writing a New York Times bestselling book. For the first time, I was being valued by my castmates, by the public, in a way that I had never been valued before. And that felt to me … sad.”

What About Her Children?

The RHOSLC star has three daughters to whom she has preached body positivity. Now, she has succumbed to a drug that has helped her find this self-love. So, what will Heather Gay say to her girls? She spoke to People and had a very interesting answer. Now, Gay owns Med Spa called Beauty Lab so this was her response:

“What we value at Beauty Lab, I value for my children, which is just that self divination and informed consent. If you want to change your lips and it’ll change how you think of yourself and how you act in the world, then please spend a little bit of money and a little bit of time and set it and forget it and move on and make some change in the world. I don’t think I would ever tell my daughter, ‘Oh, if you don’t like your lips, get over it.’ I would just say change it. Change your lips, change your life and be who you want to be. Define who you want to be and pursue it relentlessly.”

Do you think that she is setting a good example for her girls and for the audience that watches her? More so, are you surprised that she hopped on the Ozempic train? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
