They asked the former daytime talk show host what she wanted. Wendy revealed that she has actually been enjoying life away from The Wendy Williams Show. She said that she feels like she has more freedom.

“So now, I can absolutely pull this down and show my boobs,” she said while she pulled down the front of her top. “You know what I’m saying? Can I show you?” The producer laughed and stated that Wendy didn’t have to flash them. In true Wendy fashion, she gave the camera the middle finger and said “in a good way.”

At one point, she began to open up about her battle with lymphedema. “I can only feel 2 percent. Do you see what this looks like?” she asked as she showed the camera her feet. Then, crying, she said, “There’s no cure for this. There’s no pill for this.”

Shortly after the first interview, it was shared that Wendy entered a rehab facility in Malibu. Not long after that, the state of New York ordered that she be put under a court-appointed guardianship, something that is still a point of debate among fans, friends, and family.

Fans Share Thoughts After Where Is Wendy Williams? Premiere

After the first installment of the docuseries aired on Saturday night, fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

Many people commented on the fact that no one in the family had a say as to who Wendy Williams’ legal guardian would be. “Wanda should have been the guardian of her sister. Period,” one person wrote, while another vowed to show up for Wendy, “Y’all find the New York guardianship court date. We showing up!!”

Others commented on how it seemed like Wendy was already losing her memory during the filming of the docuseries. “Like she didn’t remember where her childhood home was y’all but her team trying to make her go back to work,” one viewer pointed out.

Where Is Wendy Williams? will air again on Friday, March 1 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
