Wendy Williams has been having a really tough time over the course of the last several years. One thing after another seems to be plaguing this former television talk show host. Sadly, when it comes to bad news and tough times, nothing has changed for her. Wendy Williams has just received heartbreaking news about her health.
Her Recent Diagnosis
Wendy Williams recently received one of the worst diagnoses possible. She was told by her doctors she has Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). This is a very serious form of dementia. Williams is only 59 years old.
In addition to having Frontotemporal Dementia, the former talk show host was also diagnosed as having aphasia. Aphasia is when a person is losing his or her ability to use and comprehend language. There is no doubt this is a painful time in her life.

Where Is Wendy Williams?
People have been wondering about where Wendy Williams has been for quite sometime. Even her family do not know her exact location. It has been speculated this is for Williams’ own good.
For the past year or so, Wendy Williams has been living in a treatment facility. This is due to the former talk show host’s ongoing battle with alcohol. The specifics of where this treatment facility is at has never been released.
Wendy Williams Appeals To Her Fans
Wendy Williams made a desperate appeal to fans. Since learning of her latest (and worst) health concerns, her fans and supporters have reached out to her using social media. They are coming out in droves all over social media, continuing to show their love and concern for the former talk show host. Of course, they are wishing her well. However, they are also asking a lot of questions, personal questions.
“I want to say I have immense gratitude for the love and kind words I have received after sharing my diagnosis of Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Let me say, wow! Your response has been overwhelming,” Wendy Williams stated. She is asking for “personal space” as well “peace” during this horrific time in her life. She is finding it necessary to ask such things due to the “overwhelming” reactions from the public.

To the Media, stop exploiting a very sad, human story. Wendy needs to have some family visiting. After all, being in rehab, does not equate to being in “ solitary confinement “!
