Mama June Shannon has always put men before her daughters which has been to her detriment. She was with Sugar Bear for quite some time as he is Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s father. He appeared to be a decent father to June’s other three daughters. Yet, it seemed that was a lie and eventually, they broke up. June revamped herself and that led her to Geno Doak which seemed promising. Then, they became addicted to substances, selling everything and anything June had to get by. It was unclear if June would end up behind bars or what was next for the two of them.
She even had to turn over custody of Alana to her older daughter, Pumpkin. It was the best choice at the time. June got her act together, still choosing men over her kids, and found Justin Stroud. He had a past but she fixed him up and many think he is riding the gravy train. So, why is he being compared to her tragic exes? He recently was caught on a TikTok Live which was shared in a Reddit thread. There he went off about how Family Crisis IS his show.

- He is such a fool. It’s so clear why he hitched his wagon to June. He wants fame. Once this sh** show ends he will be gone.
- Exactly he’s just the next Sugar Bear, Geno…rinse and repeat.
- He’s only there for the money. He doesn’t care about any of them. It’s all about fame and money for him.
Not Much Has Changed
Mama June’s followers see a pattern with her men. For those who watched, Geno Doak started out nice enough and even tried to win Honey Boo Boo over with a kitten. Sugar Bear put up with June’s antics, as well but they had their own issues. Now, here comes Justin Stroud and it looked like he did want to care for June, washing her hair and doing her nails. Then, it all shifted and he is saying this is his show, too. He wants credit for something years in the making. So, what if it falls apart? That is yet to be seen.
