It has been a rough year for Mama June after it came out that her eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell had cancer. She revealed in the season finale that she had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma and no one knew what that meant. It was later determined to be terminal and sadly, she passed away in early December 2023. This has not been easy on the entire family, especially since she left behind two young girls. However, some fans felt that June was trying to profit off of Anna’s passing.
This did not sit well but she was always on social media and it started to become obsessive. Now, June has made a video where she is bawling her eyes out, lashes a wreck, tears streaming down her face. She explained that it has been two months since Anna passed and this will be an emotionally-driven season. The video, originally from TikTok, was shared on a Reddit thread and fans had some concerns about it. They noticed she did not look well whatsoever. Mama June was red and blotchy, which is understandable because of what she is reliving. So, what did fellow Redditors have to say?
- She looks like she is in the middle of a medical event. She looks so swollen and painful.

Clearly, fans believed that something was wrong with Mama June, beyond all of the emotions that were going on having to relive the loss of her daughter.
