Amanda Halterman Gets Nasty Over Petty Weight Comment
1000-Lb Sisters star Amanda Halterman and her siblings are going head-to-head this season. Fans already know that an explosive fight is coming while the family vacations in Florida. But in the meantime, it seems like the siblings just can’t stop nitpicking and arguing with one another.
A recent clip shared by TLC has plenty of viewers buzzing. What exactly happened?

1000-Lb Sisters fans know that the stars are only one snide comment away from being at each other’s throats. It’s happened time after time on the show and likely won’t stop anytime soon.
In a recent clip, Amanda and Amy nearly got into another fight over fat-shaming comments.
“You don’t call people fat, you call them thick,” Amanda Halterman claps back at her sister in the clip. “I’m thick in all the right places.”
“I’m thick in all the wrong places,” Amy replies sullenly. However, she quickly turns it around and jokes, “I need to put some of this belly in my a**.” The remark earns a laugh from her siblings.
“B*tch, I’ll just give you some of mine!” Tammy says through laughter.
“Nah, I got my own excess skin to work with, honey!” Amy tells her.
The clip cuts to a confessional with Chris, Amy, and Tammy where they continue to joke about their body shapes. Although weight is often a difficult subject for the family, they managed to avoid another explosive argument by joking around.

Although the footage had the potential to get really nasty, the siblings laughed off the tension and avoided more drama. Viewers seemed to appreciate the clip and had plenty of things to say in the comments.

In general, Amanda Halterman remains pretty popular with 1000-Lb Sisters viewers. But some think her ego has been a little inflated this season. Regardless of what happens next, fans would really like to see Amanda and Amy put their differences aside and focus on the good of the family.
