Fans were excited to learn that film crews followed the family to Florida because it meant news of Season 5 would likely come soon. However, viewers might be waiting a little bit longer to see Season 5 come to TLC.
Tammy and Amy frequently bicker and fight onscreen, but this argument was beyond anything fans have seen so far. Allegedly, the drama was so explosive that TLC has even paused filming for the time being.

Tammy Slaton & Amy Halterman fight during vacation… again
When 1000-Lb Sisters fans heard the family was taking a trip to Florida, several viewers had concerns. The last time the family went on vacation, Tammy argued with everyone and refused to even enter their cabin.
Would a trip to Florida go any more smoothly?
As it turns out, this trip was just as catastrophic; perhaps even more so. An insider allegedly spoke up and revealed that several of the siblings got involved in a full-out brawl.
“The film crew was present, but they felt uncomfortable working with them because of the way they were behaving,” a source reportedly told The Sun. The insider allegedly told the publication that the family members began to physically attack each other.
The Sun reports that TLC has opted to take a 6-8 week break from filming to let everyone simmer down.
At this point, it’s not immediately clear when the network plans to presume production. On top of that, TLC is likely giving the family space to grieve the death of Caleb Willingham, whom Tammy married at the end of Season 4.
Right now, there are still a lot of unanswered questions about 1000-Lb Sisters Season 5. But without a doubt, it seems like tensions will run incredibly high this season.
What could the sisters possibly be arguing about?
At this point, neither Tammy nor Amy have publicly spoken up about their fight. The Sun seemed to think that their siblings Chris Combs and Amanda Halterman were somewhat involved, but the extent remains unclear.
In all honesty, the fight could have been about anything. At this point, fans can really only speculate.
Given the fact that Tammy and Caleb Willingham were in the middle of divorcing during the Florida trip, some fans think it could have been about their crumbling marriage. But on the other hand, it also could have been about Amy’s split from Michael Halterman.
Other fans think that jealous feelings rock the sisters’ relationship since they’re both working toward their personal weight loss goals. Sibling rivalry is bound to rear its ugly head now and then.
