Mama June Shares Granddaughter’s 1st Days Since Mom’s Death
Mama June Shannon is sharing her granddaughter’s first days since her mother, Anna Cardwell’s passing. Cardwell died on the evening of Saturday, December 9th surrounded by her beloved family. Mama June Shares Granddaughter’s 1st Days Since Mom’s Death
One of the hardest parts of Anna Cardwell’s stage 4 adrenal carcinoma diagnosis had to be that she had two young daughters. Her oldest daughter, Kaitlyn 11 while her youngest, Kylee is only 8 so this has not been easy on them. Yet, Anna tried to show up for them as much as she could which is clear from the photos, and wanted them to know how much she loved them even when she was no longer around. Sadly, she succumbed to cancer a week ago today and the funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 13th.
Now, Mama June is sharing what Anna’s eldest daughter, Kaitlyn’s life has been like since her mother passed. She made a TikTok documenting June, her husband, Justin Stroud, and Kaitlyn’s day out. They started at Longhorn where June shared she was struggling to eat. She panned over to Kaitlyn who was playing on her iPad. June noted all of the tasks that they had to accomplish like getting Kaitlyn new Crocs and head over to the store. Mama June immediately started with the gifting for her girls and Kaitlyn which cost a couple hundred dollars.

Then, they were food shopping at Walmart and she emphasized how much they needed to buy. This was a big haul but it was necessary. At the checkout counter, Justin was clearly not happy with June and Kaitlyn. Anna’s daughter explained that he was blocking her from getting the candy that she wanted and she was starving. Yet, she had a sweet smile on her face and June noted they got everything accomplished. She even bought a pair of shoes as well so it seems Kaitlyn is doing the best she can under the circumstances.
Fans Not Happy With The Spotlight
Since Anna Cardwell passed away, fans have not cared for the way that Mama June has handled things. They feel that she has been on social media way too much when she should be with her family. Now, after seeing the video of Kaitlyn out for the day, fans and followers reacted:
