Mama June Shannon fans are livid over the way that she is promoting Anna Cardwell’s upcoming funeral. Anna passed away on Saturday, December 9th at the age of 29. Yet, it seems like June is making this a promo piece and not a sad moment. Read on for more details.

It was a tragic day when Mama June’s eldest child, Anna Cardwell, passed away over the weekend. She had been battling stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. Sadly, she succumbed to it but was surrounded by her family and unexpectedly, a husband. As it turns out, she had married her longtime boyfriend, Eldridge Toney so she had so much love with her. Now, it is time for the funeral planning and, of course, fans wanted to know if the public would be invited. June took to TikTok to share all of the details and did let the public know they would have an hour to visit Anna.
Then, she made a follow-up video and shared it on Instagram. June explained that Anna loved a song by Cooper Alan and, as it turned out, she also loves it. So, now she is trying to get everyone on social media to blow up the song so that he will come and perform at Anna’s funeral on Wednesday. Finally, she told Cooper to reach out to any one of the girls in the family as she wanted Anna to go viral like they’d done before. Fans immediately commented as they thought this was completely sickening.

Many of Mama June’s followers felt she needed to go be with her kids and grandkids rather than constantly on social media. Of course, she had those who understood everyone grieved differently. However, this did not land well in any capacity. They believed she should private message Cooper Alan to do something special for Anna. This was sadly a little too thirsty for fans’ liking, especially at such a fragile time.
