Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Wed Boyfriend Prior To Passing

Fans watched Anna Cardwell grow up on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. She had her daughter, Kaitlyn, when she was just a teenager on the show. After the show was over, she stayed out of the spotlight as she had some issues with her family. Anna went on to get married and have another daughter, Kylee. Unfortunately, that marriage ended in 2017 and she soon met Eldridge Toney. The two fell in love and they have been very happy ever since. Sadly, in early 2023, Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma which was revealed to be terminal.
Despite this, she kept on going with her life. Recently, however, it all went downhill and the family took their final trip to honor Anna. They headed to Gatlinburg minus Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson as she attends college in Colorado. Then, within a few days, the family was on social media, asking for prayers. Early on December 10th, they started to share that Anna was now an Angel. She passed with her family and loved ones by her side. As it turned out, her husband was there as she and Eldridge got married earlier this year.
According to TMZ, Eldridge and Anna privately wed on March 4th in Georgia. Per an insider, the wedding was filmed for Family Crisis. Despite being in chemo at the time, Anna knew she wanted to feel well enough at the time she tied the knot. It was definitely a family affair as Josh Efird, her brother-in-law, officiated the wedding. Whether this wedding will be included in the upcoming season of the hit WeTV series is also unknown.
Last Requests
Anna Cardwell’s sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson shared that one last request Anna had was she wanted a steak. Even in her last moments, that was what she asked for. So, Pumpkin and Alana went out and got one though it was never made. Additionally, Anna and Eldridge Toney tried to have a baby together but that never would end up happening. They struggled through that but, in the end, she passed knowing she had someone who truly loved her unconditionally. This will be a very long road for all of the family to heal but hopefully, they can do it as a unit.
