Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Puts On Brave Face Amid Cancer Struggle
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell is putting on a very brave face amid her cancer struggle which is now terminal. Right before the season finale of Mama June: Family Crisis, June shared a status update on Anna’s cancer. Sadly, it was not looking good but she has been making the most of her situation. Since Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled, Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell stayed away from reality television. She got married, had another baby, got divorced, and was living her life. More so, she and Mama June had a very contentious relationship so Anna chose to stay away from the spotlight. When June landed her own series following her life-changing transformation, only Pumpkin, Honey Boo Boo, and Jessica signed on. It was not until this recent season of Family Crisis that fans got to see Anna again.
Sadly, after she was there with her three sisters to walk Mama June down the aisle, Anna Cardwell had some tough news to break. She enlisted the help of June to tell Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo. Unfortunately, Anna had been diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. It has since turned terminal and though she did four rounds of chemo, she is unsure what she will do next. Luckily, she has the help of her family and the support of her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney. He has been a great rock throughout all of this.
According to The Mirror, he recently snapped a sweet photo of himself and Anna smiling and then shared it on his Instagram. Per Anna’s Facebook, they have been together since 2017 and are very happily in love. Even though she is battling terminal cancer, she put on a very brave face while out with her man. Her hair is no longer but it did not seem to faze her whatsoever. More so, followers were extremely happy to see Anna still living her best life.
All The Support
It is not enough that Anna Cardwell’s mother, Mama June is moving back to Georgia from Alabama to be there for her daughter. Now, she has a lot of consistent support from fans. In the comment section of Eldridge’s Instagram post, followers were so happy to see Anna out and about. “Beautiful photo💕,” one wrote. Another added: “You two look happy 🙌😍 keep strong.” Finally, a fan had this to say: “I just read update on Anna. I am so saddened. Keep fighting. Alot of people are praying for you.”
