Mama June Shannon’s husband, Justin Stroud is sharing an intimate wedding day photo dump. Viewers got to see their vow renewal play out on the season finale of Family Crisis Friday, July 14th. Mama June’s Husband Shares Intimate Wedding Photo Dump
It was very important for Mama June’s husband, Justin Stroud to have an actual wedding. The couple tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in March 2022. No one knew, not even June’s daughters. Plus, Justin felt that she asked him to get married when he was in a very low place but that was not how he wanted it. He then pitched the idea that they have an actual wedding and it took a lot to get everyone together. His family was on board but three out of four of June’s daughters wanted nothing to do with her or her wedding. However, she was determined, got her wish, and now Justin is showing the photos off on Instagram.
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell, Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird, and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson walked their mama down the aisle. More so, Pumpkin joked that she was now his problem. The wedding took place in Florida and made for the perfect season finale. Two of Mama June’s granddaughters were flower girls. As a wedding gift, Justin gave June a Pandora bracelet that meant a lot to her. She had shared with him that she lost it in her addiction so it was a beautifully sentimental moment.
Of course, after the ceremony, the reception went off, and Mama June ensured that everyone had a lot to eat. She told the guests that she did not want them to leave hungry. Pumpkin, Doe Doe, and little Ella gave speeches that were so sweet. The best part was having all of Mama June’s girls there with her and for her. This was a long time coming. However, it was ultimately bittersweet.
The Hardest Part
Though the celebration was beautiful and everyone had a great time, right before the wedding, Honey Boo Boo had some big news. She had gotten accepted to her top choice school but it happened to be in Colorado. So, that was a big blow to Mama June and Pumpkin. Then, two weeks after the wedding, June and Anna called Pumpkin with some news. They made sure Honey Boo Boo was there, as well. That was when they revealed that Anna had stage 4 cancer. So, this lavish celebration actually came at the most perfect time.
