Mama June is one of those people who loves to promote any and everything she can possibly get her hands on. At one point, she was promoting crystals, and even her daughter, Honey Boo Boo got in on the action. She was showing off her love for a pickle company. Yet, as showcased in this season of Family Crisis, she started using her name to get comped things for important events. The whole family realized that there was value in their brand and started to monetize off of that. They spent last summer doing meet-and-greets and getting to know their fans.
Unfortunately, they have also made plenty of mistakes along the way. Pumpkin has been called out for bad parenting while she and Honey Boo Boo have been told they have filthy mouths. Right after HBB’s boyfriend, Dralin Carswell was arrested, the sisters went on TikTok and attacked their fans. Yet, the way they spoke had people calling for them to be fired from reality tv. Aside from all of these issues, has Pumpkin been scamming faithful Mama June fans? According to a Reddit thread, Pumpkin’s aforementioned late-night sales are the topic of conversation.
It started with a Redditor talking about Pumpkin’s constant glazed eyes and how she sells a ton of duped items. They then added up her profits to make it around 2K. However, it seems that she has given out a lot of refunds yet she has a no-refund policy. Someone added: “Only way she’s made “quite a bit of refunds” is if people are starting to dispute anything she’s not sending.”
No Refunds?
The refund discussion regarding Mama June’s daughter continued. One shared that Pumpkin tends to “trip over her tongue.” Plus, she apparently starts to yell when people ask for refunds for legitimate reasons. “Absolutely, and that’s when she starts yelling and getting mad and we see that ugly side of her, which is very often,” a Redditor noted. They also discussed how she can get tricky with customers to the point that they do not want the stuff anymore.
It seems like Pumpkin does not know really what she is doing and is just taking her loyal Mama June fanbase on a ride for quick cash.
