Gerry Turner’s third runner-up, Faith Martin, expresses doubt over the proposed Golden Bachelorette spinoff. Keep reading to find out what the Golden Bachelor contestant says about it.

Bachelor Nation Fans Reverse Course Over Golden Bachelor Winner

Throughout the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor, Theresa Nist has been one of the least-liked contestants among Bachelor Nation fans. They expressed outrage on social media when she was given a rose over Ellen and then over Faith Martin.

Along with Leslie Fhima, Nist has made it all the way to the finals. In the most recent episode, Gerry Turner had private Fantasy Suite dates with each woman. Viewers won’t know who he gives his final rose to until November 30, but Bachelor Nation fans are suddenly finding themselves rooting for Theresa Nist over Leslie Fhima.

The shift began to happen during the hometown dates when viewers couldn’t deny the connection between Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner.

But there are some fans who still think Faith Martin is the one for Gerry Turner. After her elimination, she realized in hindsight why they wouldn’t work out.

With the success of The Golden Bachelor, fans and producers are clamoring for a female-led spinoff. Faith Martin is among the names for the first Golden Bachelorette.

Faith Martin recently responded to a fan comment on Instagram about it. However, her response may not be what fans were hoping or expecting.

“Please just don’t be disappointed if that doesn’t happen,” she said about the prospect of being named the Golden Bachelorette. “I don’t think that’s likely…I just don’t know a thing about how they choose that,” she added.

It could be her insecurities rearing their head again, or perhaps she’s not interested in putting her heart on the line again after Gerry Turner broke it.

One Self-Eliminated Contestant Would ‘Jump’ At The Chance

If Faith Martin doesn’t want to be the first Golden Bachelorette, several other rejected contestants are more than interested. TheWrap spoke to several members of the Golden Bachelor cast during this month’s Women Tell All special.

Joan Vassos – who self-eliminated in Week 3 – is very interested in taking on the role. According to the outlet, she said she would “jump” at the chance, but she’s not the only one.

Sandra Mason, Susan Noles, and Kathy Swarts all expressed interest in being the first Golden Bachelorette.

Noles joked that the ASkN crew – Noles, Swarts, April Kirkwood, and Nancy Holkower – would go to a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff in one-piece suits instead of bikinis.
