‘Bachelorette’ Season 21 Contestants Stunned By Jenn Tran, Why?
Season 21 of The Bachelorette hasn’t even aired yet, but there’s already tea coming out about Jenn Tran stunning the men. Keep reading to find out more about what allegedly happened.
ABC Sets Bachelorette Premiere Date
ABC confirmed in February that The Bachelorette was renewed for another season to air this summer. They also confirmed a season of The Golden Bachelorette to air this fall.
Charity Lawson announced Jenn Tran as the next Bachelorette at Joey Graziadei’s After The Final Rose special. She was a contestant on Season 28 of The Bachelor.
The network finally revealed an air date for the new Bachelorette this week when unveiling their summer schedule
Mark your calendars because Jenn Tran’s season will be here before you know it. The Bachelorette Season 21 will premiere on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 8 PM Eastern.
Spoiler guru Reality Steve has yet to get the scoop on specific details about Jenn’s season. However, he did hear something went down that left the contestants stunned.
Season 21 Contestants Stunned By Jenn Tran
If you follow Bachelor Nation happenings, you know that Jenn Tran allegedly wasn’t the network’s first choice as the next Bachelorette. Either runner-up Daisy Kent and fourth-place contestant Maria Georgas were who fans were expecting the network to choose.
Maria Georgas confirmed on a podcast earlier this week that she was offered The Bachelorette. “It was mine until I said it wasn’t,” she spilled. She ended up turning it down.
Daisy Kent was also offered the role but declined. It’s unclear which of the two ladies was offered the role first and which was the second choice.
But the revelation seems to confirm fans’ feelings that Jenn Tran wasn’t who the network initially wanted as The Bachelorette.

According to Reality Steve’s sources, she may not have been who the contestants chosen for Season 21 wanted either. The inside claims that some of the men were blindsided and stunned when they got to the Bachelor Mansion to find Jenn and not Maria or Daisy.
Reality Steve said on his Daily Roundup podcast that he heard rumblings that some of the men discussed their disappointment on camera. However, he added that viewers will have to wait to see if the producers air that footage.
According to Reality Steve, Jenn Tran is already filming hometown dates with her suitors.
