‘Today:’ Al Roker Unlocks Secret To Dramatically Improved Health
The Today Show meteorologist Al Roker has found the key. The key to unlocking dramatic health and well-being improvement.
As fans of the 69-year-old know, Al Roker took a sudden leave from The Today Show about a year ago. He ended up in the hospital with a serious blood clot situation. He had clots in both his legs and his lungs.
Given his age, fans of The Today Show were terrified he wouldn’t make it. Things became even scarier when Al Roker was released from the hospital only to be hospitalized again. His wife Deborah Roberts was spotted so hysterical by the situation that she was struggling to get inside her vehicle. It was reported that she actually had to smash her way into the vehicle at the time.
Fortunately, Al Roker did recover. He was released from the hospital. And, at the beginning of the year, he returned to work. Looking at his social media posts and watching him on television, Al Roker seems to be a brand new man.

Entertainment Tonight caught up with Al Roker a few days ago for Halloween. The 69-year-old was dressed as Lionel Richie this year. He admitted he wanted to dress as Lionel last year. It, however, didn’t work out that way. So, he was happy he got to dress the way he wanted to this year. The Today Show personality did apologize to the singer and songwriter for dressing as him. Entertainment Tonight, however, reassured him he was doing the singer justice.
Switching up the topic a bit, the interviewer admits she was happy to see Al Roker out and enjoying Halloween. She noted that Al Roker looked great. Furthermore, she asked how he was feeling. The 69-year-old admitted all as well before he proceeded to share the real secret to his dramatic and miraculous recovery. He explained that becoming a grandfather really zapped a new zest for life into him. Al Roker admitted he had no idea how much fun grandchildren could be. So, he wished he had gotten grandchildren sooner!

He explained: “I’m doing great, doing great. I tell you, the thing that’s kept me going is I’ve had a new granddaughter.”
Al Roker also shared that his precious granddaughter was enjoying her first Halloween dressed up as a cloud. He thought the costume was a “sweet” choice. On his Instagram, he has also explained that being a grandparent is great because he gets to give her back to her parents when the fun is over.
