‘Today’ Al Roker Warns About ‘Dangerous Week’ Ahead
TODAY show host Al Roker always willing to share his life and thoughts with fans, famed weatherman Al Roker journaled his road to recovery after a knee replacement on social media. Back in May, Roker took time off from TODAY to undergo a knee replacement. Although he returned to the show just three weeks after the surgery, his rehabilitation has taken some time. Recently, Roker shared a video of him walking in Upstate New York. While Roker usually documents these walks, fans pointed out that his happy demeanor seemed vacant going into what he claimed to be a “dangerous week”.
On Sunday, while taking a stroll, Al Roker decided to update his fans ahead of the week and try to give them some hope. At least that was the plan at the beginning. As he trudged along, the weatherman said, “I hope you are having a great day and doing something to bring yourself a little Sunday morning serenity and get charged up for the week ahead.”
What Does It Mean
Giving his usual outlook on life, Al Roker admitted to fans that he needed to have a little “chat” with himself to get outside. He noted how it didn’t matter how much he walked, only that he got out. He explained, “I hope you can get out there and enjoy a little bit of nature and kind of quiet your mind with everything that’s going on out there.”
Fans filled the comment section of the video with words of support. “We are with you Al”. “Keep going Al!” You’re the greatest Al! I love your strength. Keep going.” Countless people wished him the same while others suggested they were “praying” for him.
While Al Roker appears surrounded by a loving fanbase, some wondered about his caption. He wrote that he hoped people would treat themselves or others before heading into “a very fraught and dangerous week.” There was no clarification as to what the weatherman was writing about or if he knew anything important.

On the same day, Al Roker’s wife, Deborah Roberts, updated fans when she posted a picture of them in the car. Again, documenting their journey back home from upstate, the duo flashed smiles at the camera.
Yellowstone Actor Love Al Roker
Besides his loving fans, it seems that even Hollywood loves Al Roker as Yellowstone actor Cole Hauser considered the weatherman a “national treasure”. On October 11, Hauser appeared on TODAY to promote his Free Rein coffee company. While sharing a cup of coffee and conversation, Hauser said, “I love this man. He’s got one of the greatest smiles in the world. To me, you’re always a national treasure — just so you know.”
