Crucial ‘Sister Wives’ Episodes Missing From Max’s Platform?
Did Max ditch certain Sister Wives episodes?
Discovery+ and HBO Max recently merged platforms and are now simply called “Max.” Many subscribers were initially excited about the shift since there would be fewer streaming services to manage.
But if Max is missing key episodes of certain shows, many subscribers may soon change their tune. Recently, Redditors discussed the possibility of missing Sister Wives episodes.

Sister Wives fans rail against Max for removing episodes from the platform
Sister Wives fans frequently enjoy rewatching old episodes. Season 18 will likely come out this fall, so many viewers are planning to rewatch the first 17 seasons over the summer.
But if they’re Max subscribers, they may be a little disappointed. Sister Wives fans report that the streaming service doesn’t have the full catalog of episodes.
“Hi All! I tried searching in the subreddit for an answer but couldn’t find one,” one Redditor posted on the platform recently. “I was wondering if anyone noticed if max is missing episodes discovery+ may have? I’m planning to cancel discovery+ since most of the shows I watch is on max. I use to watch sister wives here and there whenever I caught on it TV now I’m doing a rewatch-ish of everything from start to current.”
Other Reddit users chimed in to say they had indeed noticed there were missing episodes. Maddie and Mykelti’s graduation episode has been removed, though a few fans noted it was due to a copyright issue.
But what about the others?
“I’m up to Mykelti’s wedding on Max and I swear there was another episode between them looking for the venue and the actual wedding. And I could’ve swore that Maddie announced her pregnancy before the wedding,” another Redditor wrote. “Her bridal shower was skipped and Christine cutting up her wedding dress for the flowers.”
Overall, there seemed to be more questions than answers. There certainly are a handful of missing Sister Wives episodes, but viewers can’t seem to find out why.
Will Season 18 be available to stream on Max?
Needless to say, many Sister Wives viewers are heartbroken that the full series isn’t available on Max. But hopefully, the platform will still carry Season 18 episodes when it finally kicks off.
Fans are eager to see which topics Season 18 will cover. Although the series is generally 18 months behind real life, viewers can’t wait to see how the divorce drama played out.
And with any luck, viewers will hopefully get to see David Woolley make his debut on the show. There are still many unknowns for the time being, so fans will have to stay tuned for more.
