Kim Kardashian has been criticized for her work ethic once again. The entrepreneur said before that she works hard and wishes all women did as well. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made headlines for her latest interview. The star  discussed her ever-growing empire and what she makes her employees wear.

Apparently, Kim has a strict workplace dress code. Earlier this week, she spoke to Angie Martinez on her IRL podcast. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Kim made a tearful admission about her co-parenting relationship with Kanye. During the interview, she also got serious when it came to discussing her business.

Kim Kardashian reveals company’s dress code

The reality star shared that the employees can only wear certain colors to work. If you guessed neutral colors, you are right. Kim Kardashian always loves to wear black, beige, and gray. She loves those colors so much that she makes her employees wear them.

Host Angie Martinez visited her company and noticed that the employees are “color coordinated.” She wanted to know if the television personality did that intentionally. Kim admitted that she has a strict company dress code. She revealed that she makes them wear “uniforms.”

“Stop!” Angie responded. “Is there really a uniform? Stop!”

“Well, it’s not like, ‘Hey, this is like your uniform,'” Kim Kardashian explained on the IRL podcast. “It’s just color palettes.”

The company handbook reveals that employees can only wear “grays, heather gray, black, navy, white, cream, and khaki.” It fits in with the neutral theme of the Kardashian family. Kim feels that it’s an easy rule to follow since “we can stick with neutrals” and avoid “color blocking.” She follows that rule in every aspect of her life.

In fact, Kim Kardashian shared that’s the reason why her home has neutral colors. She calls it “so zen.” The celebrity feels that it could make life “easier” for everyone else. Even when they work.

KUWTK alum wants women to get to work

Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian caught controversy when she revealed that women don’t want to work these days. In a joint interview with her family for Variety, she told women to “get your f***ing a** up and work.” Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and their mom Kris Jenner spoke to the outlet about their success.

They prided themselves on working hard. Kim declared that “nobody wants to work these days.” Her solution is “to surround yourself with people that want to work.” Kourtney and Kris agreed with her. The platinum-blonde star shared that it could solve a majority of workplace issues.

“Have a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have one life,” Kim Kardashian continued. “No toxic work environments and show up and do the work.”

Kim Kardashian explains “weird” comments

In her latest interview, Angie asked her about what she said. Kim Kardashian admitted that the interview was a “weird one.” She then explained the reason for what she said about women in the workplace. The SKIMS founder interviewed people who wanted to work for her company but set limits on their potential schedule.

“So, the context in that was that I had just been doing interviews for the last few weeks on people to work in my office,” Kim Kardashian explained. “And everyone had all of these, ‘well, I only want these hours, I want Fridays off, I don’t want to do this…’ and I was just like, ‘I come from a time when we grinded.'”

Kim took those responses and thought, “Damn, no one wants to work.” She wasn’t “generalizing” all women. Kim is aware that there are people out there who do want to put in the work or effort. It’s just something she noticed when she had to interview potential employees.
