Kim Kardashian Tearfully Addresses Struggles Over Ye Co-Parenting
Kim Kardashian is tearfully opening up about her co-parenting situation with ex-husband, Kanye ‘Ye’ West. Though she appeared to put on a supportive and united front during an episode of The Kardashians, it is not so easy. The mother of four has had to hold back a lot when it comes to her ex. Mainly because she does not want her children to see the truth behind her struggles with their father. So, what else did the mogul have to say? Read on for more details.
Kim Kardashian Tearfully Addresses Struggles Over Ye Co-Parenting
As much as Kim wanted her marriage to Ye to work out, it just didn’t. Therefore, she has since moved on, dating comedian and actor Pete Davidson for nine months. The two were hot and heavy until August of this year and then it appeared that he called it quits. Now, her focus has been on building her brands as well as her future as a lawyer. Yet, more importantly, Kim Kardashian wants to maintain some semblance of normalcy for her children.
Along with Ye, the couple had children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Though she had made it seem like they were working together to co-parent in a copasetic way, now it seems that it has been a struggle. According to NBC News, Kim appeared on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast where she broke down the truth behind her co-parenting issues. On Monday, she opened up by saying she is trying to maintain a level of normalcy for her kids.
Kim Kardashian also noted that: “One day my kids will thank me … for not bashing their dad.” She continued to add: “I definitely protected him, and I still will in the eyes of my kids. For my kids. So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on [in] the outside world.” Kim credits her relationship with her father after her parents divorced for helping her learn and stay balanced. This is what she has brought to her children.
The Tears Come Later
Kim Kardashian admitted that she maintains a smile for her four kids and then she will break down and cry. She has learned how to put on a good poker face when she needs to. Yet, the truth does come out. “I am holding on by a thread. I know that I am so close to that not happening, but while it is still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can. My kids don’t know anything.” So, no matter what she is feeling on the inside, Kim Kardashian’s children will never see their mommy break.
Fortunately, she has one benefit when it comes to gossip. Kim admits that she has made friends with the teachers at her kids’ school. Therefore, she is privy to what is going on and being said. That way she can still attempt to shield them in the best way possible. If she can continue to keep it this way has yet to be seen.
