Three Tips

The TLC alum broke down the approach simply, saying:

The goal is that they hear the information from you. Before, or at least  in conjunction with the information thay may be gathering from TV, social media, or their friends.

The first tip suggested, “Start with questions [and] ask your kids what they heard.” By doing that, Dr. Jen Arnold noted that parents get a “sense of where to start.”

The second step is to ask the kids “how they feel about it.” Hopefully, that might “open the door” to how they are being impacted. Finally, The Little Couple mom encouraged her followers to “ask them what questions they have.”
