Fans Bash ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ For Undeserved Second Chances

Pat Sajak - Wheel Of Fortune

Recently, Wheel Of Fortune fans were bashing the show for giving contestants undeserving second chances. While Pat Sajak is heading toward retirement rapidly, fans are certainly noticing some “unfair” aspects of the show. Admittedly, now that the retirement is imminent, fans are wishing for more time with the beloved host.

Wheel Of Fortune Prepares For Pat Sajak’s Departure

Both Vanna White and Pat Sajak have been partners in crime for more than four decades. Sadly, Wheel Of Fortune‘s long-time legend will be leaving the show in less than two weeks. Undoubtedly, as his exit nears, Vanna is getting reminiscent of memories from over the years. Although the time is ticking away with Pat in the driver’s seat, Ryan Seacrest is primed and ready to take over. Together the duo has been on 8,000 shows through the years. Admittedly, she is sad to see her friend and co-host leave. “can’t describe how I feel. I feel happy for him.” Vanna elaborates, “I can’t imagine doing the show without him after 41 years; I sum it up as [like] reading a good book. It always has to end. This has been the best book I’ve ever read.” But fans aren’t loving the direction the show has been taking lately. While there are complaints over the degree of difficulty with the puzzles, they are also bashing the show for giving second chances they feel are unwarranted.

Twice Is Nice

After a recent episode of Wheel Of Fortune, fans were quick to show disapproval of the show offering what they consider to be undeserving second chances. In February, Cynthia King from Warren, Michigan walked away winning more than $83,000. However, when fans noticed her familiar face back on Monday, some fans weren’t able to contain their displeasure with WOF‘s decision to host a “Fan Favorite Week.”

While Cynthia didn’t solve the bonus puzzle, she still added nearly $20,000 to her earlier prize pot from February. Certainly, Cynthia was ecstatic to return for a second chance at winning. She told Maggie Sajak, “It’s so crazy. I didn’t even believe it. Like, this can’t be true.” Admittedly, Cynthia shares she was trying to be chosen for the show for thirty years before landing her double opportunity. Pleasantly sharing her surprise she describes her return. She says, “Just being on the show once is unreal, but being on here twice? It’s like, oh wow, okay, I’m walking. I’m a celebrity. You don’t want my signature, you want my autograph.”

  • “Yay! Can’t wait for redemption week for us one-time players.”
  • “I’ve been trying to get on Wheel Forever!!”
  • “I’ve been trying to get on wheel of fortune. I filled out the application for it in 2021.”
