Mama June Shannon is going to great lengths to achieve her weight loss goals. She has already undergone gastric sleeve surgery. Though she was hopeful for a revision, that did not happen so she is taking drastic measures. Keep reading for more details.

When Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled, Mama June was under fire for the company she had been keeping. Then, she decided to change her life and with that, she got a new reality series, from Not To Hot. On the show, she was seen undergoing weight loss surgery as well as liposuction, a tummy tuck, and skin removal. This brought her down from over 500 pounds to 300 pounds. She then settled in between 130 and 150 pounds which she admitted was skinny for her. More so, it was hard for her to see herself like that. Then, June got heavy into her addiction which, once she got clean, caused her to gain weight.
After she met her husband, Justin Stroud, they headed to California to get him teeth and for her to meet with a doctor. She wanted a revision on her surgery but he explained she had to change her eating habits first. That never happened and she just made an Instagram video explaining that taking care of her now late daughter, Anna Cardwell impacted her weight. June alleges she has gained over 100 pounds in the last year and a half so she is going to try Semaglutide, similar to Monjauro or Ozempic.

She mentioned how she got it and said she went to her primary care doctor, who is also on Semaglutide. However, the actual prescriber is a dermatologist out of Miami who does both in-office and telehealth visits. Mama June also noted that she thought about going to the gym but when she did things similar to this, she lost weight fast. She is starting at a low dosage and after four weeks, it will increase. Of course, fans and followers had a lot to say.

- June I’ve watched from beginning to end. You need mental therapy first. You need to acknowledge your pain and work through it. 🙏🏾🫶🏾
- She doesn’t use or do anything for free she hast to get paid for whatever she does. she needs to pay Alana back all the money she stole from her
- Must be nice to be able to pay for this medicine for weight loss. Meanwhile there is a shortage for people who need it for diabetes.
