Last Episode Of Wheel Of Fortune With Pat Sajak Has Been Filmed
This season is the last one that Pat Sajak will be on Wheel Of Fortune. He announced his retirement on June 13, 2023, and it was confirmed that his final episodes would air in June 2024.
After announcing his retirement, he wrote on X, “Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all.”
Last week, it was revealed that Sajak had filmed his final episode of Wheel on April 5. He has spent 45 years hosting Wheel Of Fortune.
Ryan Seacrest has been chosen to replace Pat Sajak on the beloved game show. Many fans have questioned why the decision on who would replace Pat Sajak was made so quickly. Several people thought it was to avoid controversy like Jeopardy! had after Alex Trebek’s death. For some time, there were multiple hosts on the show and it was clear one of them was disliked by viewers.
Others have suggested that Pat’s daughter Maggie Sajak take her dad’s place on Wheel Of Fortune. It doesn’t seem like Maggie has any plans of doing that though, despite being present on the set every day. She has filled in for Vanna White once though, so maybe there’s a future for her on the show once Vanna decides to step down.
Retired Pat Sajak Steps Out In A Casual Look
Pat Sajak stepped out to go grocery shopping over the weekend. If you weren’t paying attention, you may have not even realized it was him.
The Wheel Of Fortune host sported a gray Underarmor ballcap and sunglasses. Along with that, he wore a gray sweatshirt over an orange t-shirt with gray athletic shorts. To finish off the casual look, Sajak wore a pair of gray tennis shoes.

When inside the store, Sajak left his sunglasses on to avoid being noticed. He picked out a few things from the produce section and grabbed some bottled water as well.
Sajak’s entire look was extremely different than what viewers are used to seeing on Wheel Of Fortune. Normally, fans see Pat Sajak in a suit and tie. However, his more casual look to step out of the house is a reminder to some people that he’ll be stepping down from his role as host soon.
The final episode of Wheel Of Fortune with Pat Sajak is slated to air on June 7, 2024.
