Ariana Madix’s Brother Opens Up About Estrangement

Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy Madix is finally opening up about what caused their recent estrangement. The Vanderpump Rules star had always been very close to her younger brother. Yet, since she has been living in New York, it seems that they have had a distance. So, why is that? Keep reading for more details.

Recently, Jeremy Madix was spotted out with Tom Sandoval. More so, they were hugging which was very odd considering that Jeremy’s older sister is Ariana Madix. It would seem he would have loyalty to his sister over her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her with her best friend. Then it was revealed that he had not spoken to his sister in quite some time which was debatable. There was a comment from Ariana on Jeremy’s social media but did that count? Fans wondered what caused the dissension and now, Jeremy has gotten engaged.

He celebrated this milestone with Ariana’s co-star, Scheana Shay which also seemed like a betrayal to those who saw the video of them toasting. Now, Jeremy has finally opened up about why he and Ariana stopped speaking. According to Us Weekly, it ultimately boiled down to Jeremy’s now-fiancee, Rachael.

“Why I haven’t been talking to my sister and Scandoval are two totally separate things. I just want to clarify that I haven’t talked to my sister due to me having to stand up for my fiancée. There’s been some small microaggressive gestures toward my fiancée, and that’s what’s led to me not talking to my sister. It’s been going on for quite some time. I think that we’ve just been kind of letting it pass, because of course I’m always going to have my sister’s back. But I was put in a position where I choose my sister, or do I choose the person I’m going to spend the rest of my life with?”

Admittedly, Jeremy cannot pinpoint why Ariana Madix and Rachael do not get along or what caused them to fall out. He noted that his sister is very sweet so it may have been things no one would have even noticed. As for the last time Jeremy Madix spoke to Ariana, he claimed that he contacted her back in December. He let her know he loved her and that he wanted to connect. However, she never got back to him so he feels he did his part.

Despite all of this, Ariana Madix was always there for her younger brother. When she and Tom Sandoval were initially living together in his apartment, Jeremy Madix needed a place to live. They welcomed him with open arms. He then stayed there when they moved into the house they bought. She has always been very supportive of him and he was there for her during her riding days, cheering her on. Now, Ariana is immensely busy, finishing up her time on Broadway before she starts her hosting gig on Love Island. Hopefully, Ariana and Jeremy can figure out a way to mend fences sooner rather than later.
