Ariana Madix Named New ‘Love Island’ Host

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix has been named the new host of Love Island. She is allegedly going to be taking over the reins for Sarah Hyland. So, how did this all transpire? Keep reading for all of the details on what went down.

Ariana Madix Named New Love Island Host

It has been a whirlwind year for Ariana Madix since ‘Scandoval’ occurred on March 1st, 2023. She thought she had lost everything when her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval was caught having an affair. He had been cheating on Ariana for seven months with her best friend and Vanderpump Rules co-star, Rachel Leviss. Yet, Lisa Vanderpump tried to remind her that it would get better in time and it sure has. Soon enough, Ariana had deals with Duracell, Uber One, Bic, Lay’s, and was appearing on DWTS. Additionally, she wrote her own cocktail book and was set to appear on Broadway in Chicago.

She also made an appearance on Love Island last season which made the fans very excited. They started to wonder if she would end up as the host of the show. Now, according to TMZ, Ariana will be taking over for current host, Sarah Hyland who has been on the show for the last two seasons. Apparently, Hyland has opted to do something else which would take her away from the show. Therefore, this was the perfect opportunity for Ariana who will end her Chicago stint at the beginning of April.

Nothing has been officially signed as of now. However, as long as things keep moving along swimmingly as expected, Ariana Madix will be the new Love Island host. Fans of the show had a lot to say upon learning this news and immediately headed to Twitter/X:

Right At Home

Love Island airs on Peacock so Ariana Madix will be right at home. That is where Vanderpump Rules streams as well as the very popular after show. So, she is already a part of the family over there. Furthermore, Ariana just got a beautiful $1.6 million home in the Hollywood Hills so she has a lovely place to rest her head in between gigs. Yes, it will be a transition for viewers but it looks like it will be a fairly easy one plus Ariana is an avid fan so she seems to be the perfect one to take over for Sarah Hyland.
