‘Live’ Is Mark Consuelos Getting ‘Canceled’ From Show?
Last year, Mark Consuelos settled in as the new co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark and soon things started changing, but is he getting canceled from the show? He seemed a bit uncertain after a bizarre turn of events this week.
Mark Consuelos And The Stump Mark Games Segment
One of the first things to change after Kelly Ripa’s husband was confirmed as a new co-host for the show came in the Trivia Game segment. Previously, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly gave away random mugs and t-shirts. However, the name changed to Stump Mark, and people had to earn their gifts. Many people feel that he’s a bad loser becasue he stormed off the set when Jane Krakowski beat him at the game twice.

Live With Kelly And Mark Fans See Mark A Bit Flustered – Canceled?
When it came to the usual Stump Mark segment, this week’s contestant hailed from Pennsylvania. Sarah Gafgen made two statements, and it was up to Kelly’s husband to correctly decide which one was a lie. Getting the correct answers involved asking questions. She claimed:
I deliver singing telegrams, or, my cats are named after characters from a Greek drama.
Everything started sweetly, and Sarah seemed pleased to be on the Live show. Mark Consuelos decided to ask her to sing about Kelly. Notably, it was about her getting “a broken hip.” That startled Kelly Ripa, but the contestant pulled it off okay. She sang:
“Pardon me, Kelly, but your hip’s broken, and that’s too bad. Feel better, love, Mark.”
Monsters and Critics reported that the bizarre part came when Mark Consuelos asked the contestant to sing “I’m sorry your cat is dead.” However, she sounded shocked and refused. So, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-host seemed a bit at a loss. Turning to his wife, he asked her, “Is today the day? Is today the day I get canceled?”
The good news was that the ABC host assured Mark he wouldn’t lose his job:
No, that’s not going to do it.
Next, he told Sarah that she looked “very dramatic in her picture,” so he thought that she was “sandbagging” him. Despite the awkwardness, the ABC star decided that she did have “a job singing telegrams.” Sarah agreed that he guessed right. Naturally, that brought back the smiles, because Mark Consuelos loves to win at Stump Mark.

Kelly and Mark are great together. I love how they talk about their daily life and how they are like regular people.
I love this couple! I think Mark is doing a great job!
They were adorable on All My Children and they and there children have grown up in front of our eyes. They are funny. Maybe bring back the other game?

I think this is malarky. Mark only ADDS to the show. We love Stump Mark, as well as the guests, & opening fun banter. If he stormed off, it was in jest, only apparent to those who actually watch the show. 🙄 Let’s not make mountains out of molehills, or just speculate. Keep up the positive & FUN show Mark & Kelly! 👍
Live with Kelly, which was not good, is even worse now that Mark has joined. He constantly mugs for the camera and does not seem interested in most of the guests. He and Kelly are too “handy” with each other. Mark is a major “dig me” and adds nothing to the program. Time for him to leave!
I personally think Mark made the show better. It was getting boring and I think he is terrific.
I LOVE the show now. Mark has turned the show around, Kelly is so much more comfortable and Mark has brought sports in and his humor is great. He is so Easy on the eyes too. I live in Sarasota FL, and a Buccaneers fan. He even makes Gelman tolerable.
