Mama June: Family Crisis star Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson faces accusations of pretending a situation is currently happening in order to beg for money using Cash Apps. As she pushes things that actually occurred some time ago, people feel that the WeTV star might be acting out for free money. So, they think that she’s a lot more like her mother, June Shannon than she thinks.

Mama June: Family Crisis fans seem very upset with Honey Boo Boo. It all started when they saw that June Shannon wouldn’t help pay for her daughter’s college. WeTV viewers accused the wife of Justin Stroud of selfishness. Their money issues all started when June Shannon ran off with Geno Doak.
Before the money story played out, Mama June fans were shocked to see that Alana Thompson, her sister, Pumpkin, and her mom all seemed to be grifting for money. So, critics got heated about WeTV giving them a platform. Some fans predicted that soon, the family would start begging for Alana’s college costs.

Mama June Show Reveals Cash Crisis
There’s been a lot of discussion about Honey Boo Boo and her finances. In fact, with June plundering the cash belonging to her daughter, some people think Pumpkin’s little sister should sue her mother. Still, that doesn’t make Mama June fans very sympathetic right now. That’s because they think that Honey Boo Boo begged people to send her money. It came after a Live on TikTok that an OP on Reddit watched this weekend. In their caption, they alleged:
Alana is on live begging for $ after the episode aired…Pretending like this JUST happened is insane to me…. Whenever she’s making $ off the current show she’s on tik tok begging for cash apps to be sent to pay for her college. SERIOUSLY she’s no better than her mom.
The moderators on the forum don’t usually allow Live posts, but in this instance, they made an exception. They said it’s “because it contains the additional information that Alana was giving out her Cash App so sympathetic people can send her money.” Notably, WeTV fans should know that the scenes about college money were filmed a long time ago.
Critics Slam The WETV Star For Begging
Alana Thompson got slammed by WeTV viewers who saw the post. Additionally, they felt that selecting out-of-state for education seemed insane. Here are some of those comments:
- Why can’t dralin get a job, and help her? I think he’s legally allowed to work, and certainly physically able too, and tbh, she can do what a lot of college kids do, live on campus and get a job.
- This is what I can’t stand 🤢, absolute chancing beggars lol. They get paid for the show. then they have their shitty Temu closet…which [earns] enough for pumpkin to be at Disney twice already lol. yet they are still always begging or trying to get something for free, what a brass neck of a family. 😱
- The entire family just used this episode to squeeze money out of their fans. Even Junebug was on her TT Live giving out info for fans to make payments to Alana. There’s nothing they won’t stoop to in order to not have to work. Why would Alana work as a nurse when grifting is easier…
- There are plenty of good community colleges where she could go her first two years before entering a nursing program and many cheaper cities than Denver.

You can’t be surprised at the behavior within dysfunctional families. When we find that friends or family members can bring plenty of drama into your life, so you should step away, even if your mother or sister, but they continue that ghetto mentality, and create more drama with the same people. It appears that the young children is being exposed to their mess. Why can’t Alana do the same as other financially challenged students do to pay their tuition, GET A JOB. Not only is she probably trying to get money for college, but want money for a place to live with her boyfriend, why isn’t he her go to person for financial help. I find how many people will give money to someone who isn’t taking responsibility for themself.
