Why Fans Think Honey Boo Boo Following Mama June’s Footsteps?

It has not been easy for Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson in the recent episodes of Family Crisis. She is trying to get to college in Colorado and make the proper accommodations. Yet, financially, she is up against a wall thanks to Mama June. It looks like she used all of Alana’s money and is trying to make poor excuses for the funds being gone. There were drugs and men, which Alana and her sisters are well-aware of but she has been working for over a decade so why is she being deprived of a future?

It looks like Alana has an amazing chance of having a great future with a scholarship and hopes of becoming a neonatal nurse. Unfortunately, a Reddit thread was recently started and one follower feels she is already taking on traits of her mother:

• I hate to sound negative, but Alana is already emulating June, but taking Dralin with her to college and having him drive her everywhere.

This has been brought up before when Alana was reluctant to get her license. She said that she had a boyfriend who could take her wherever she needed to. However, she now has a car which she got as a graduation gift. So, did others feel the same way?

• I don’t think Alana or pumpkin will ever break free. They all need deep intensive therapy they’ve been exploited for their mother’s gain as children.
• She’s young, but the way she acts with June is what I meant. Yeah, seems to be some crappy behavior from all those involved because look who taught them that behavior lol.

There was even some talk about Pumpkin and her bad parenting in the conversation.

Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird took custody of Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson when Mama June was heavy into her addiction. However, she was still really young herself and a new mom. She now has four young kids and has been called out for her parenting or lack thereof. Yes, she was able to get Alana to finish high school and off to college but she has been on livestreams while ignoring her kids. They have been seen screaming, climbing around, etc. and Pumpkin ignores them. Plus, she will stand by while her husband, Josh Efird yells at their children and does absolutely nothing,
