‘DWTS’ Pro Louis van Amstel Can’t Stand One Former Partner
Not all Dancing With The Stars pro dancers get along with their celebrity partners. Former pro Louis van Amstel recently admitted he can’t stand one of his former partners from his run on the show.
Since DWTS couples spend so much time together in the rehearsal room, it stands to reason that arguments come up now and then. But Louis van Amstel didn’t have many kind words to say about one former partner.

Louis van Amstel Hated Working With One Former Dance Partner
It’s not at all uncommon for former DWTS pros to launch podcasts. Louis van Amstel is the latest among them to introduce his own show, The LVA Podcast. And of course, the topic of favorite dance partners came up immediately. Surprisingly enough, there was only one woman he couldn’t stand during his time on the show.
“I had 11 seasons, that means I had 10 amazing women,” Louis shared. “There was only one. And we had a great season in that season, but it was when her book came out and she started trash talking not only me, but others, that’s when I lost respect.”
The 51-year-old dancer didn’t specifically name the partner, but it wasn’t hard for listeners to figure out based on the context.
Reality TV fans know Kendra Wilkinson from her role on The Girls Next Door, where she was one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. Since then, she went on to receive her real estate license and even had a short-lived TV show about it, Kendra Sells Hollywood.
She joined Dancing With The Stars Season 12 and partnered with Louis van Amstel, but it appears their relationship quickly broke down.

“I had never watched the show before I was on it,” Kendra once told The Huffington Post. “I thought it would be fun and [I would] have a good time and it was a real competition. It was a lot of stress and I clashed constantly with [dancing partner Louis Van Amstel].”
In her book, Kendra alleged Louis van Amstel mocked her intellectual abilities. Needless to say, the relationship couldn’t be mended.
The Pair Didn’t Make It Very Far In The Competition
Many DWTS couples butt heads, but can typically put aside their differences for the sake of the competition. But Louis van Amstel and Kendra Wilkinson seemed relieved when their time together was over. They finished in 6th place out of 11 couples. NFL wide receivers Hines Ward and Kym Johnson took home the Mirrorball Trophy that year.
