Wendy Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter is demanding that she pay two years’ worth of divorce payments. According to Kevin, it was agreed that he would receive monthly payments from Wendy as part of their divorce settlement. These payments ceased after the former daytime television star was placed under financial guardianship in 2022. Now, he is requesting that she resume payments and make up for the money he never received.

Kevin Hunter Wants Proof That Wendy Has ‘No Money’

Recently, Wendy Williams’ ex requested that her financial guardian and her team release her bank records to verify her financial standing. It has been claimed that she has “no money,” but Kevin Hunter isn’t buying it. He requested that they provide him with records from the year they got divorced until the present day.

During a meeting with Wendy Williams’ guardian in December 2022, Kevin was promised access to the records. However, the documents were never produced. In a mediation session that followed, a former judge alleged that Wendy has “no money.” If that is true, Kevin Hunter wants to see bank records to prove it.

This is something Wendy backs up in the Lifetime documentary Where Is Wendy Williams? At one point, she tells producers that all of her money was frozen, and taken away from her. “And let me tell you something if it happens to me, it can happen to you,” she stated.

Wendy Williams was placed under financial guardianship in 2022 after Wells Fargo froze access to her accounts. The bank asked for the courts to appoint a financial guardian due to questionable financial transactions, mental instability, and the possibility that family members may be taking advantage of her.

Wendy Williams’ Ex Relies On Severance Payments

Kevin said that he is bringing their divorce case before the courts once again because Wendy’s team hasn’t held up their end of the deal. He stated, “I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses, and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly.”

Now, he is demanding that Wendy Williams “immediately pay all severance payments which may be due and owing at the time of this Court’s Order.”

“I also respectfully request that the court compel the Plaintiff to sign the Qualified Domestic Relations Order for the AFTRA Retirement Plan or in the alternative appoint me an Attorney in Fact so that I can execute the document if the Plaintiff does not sign the document within seven (7) days of this Court’s Order,” he continued in the documents.

He went on to say that he wouldn’t have to file this motion with the courts if the severance payments were not stopped. Additionally, the domestic relations order for the AFTRA retirement plan was never signed, forcing his hand once again.

Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter initially divorced in January 2020 after Hunter had an extremely public affair.
