First ‘Golden Bachelorette’ Officially Picked
Speculation ran wild about who execs might choose as the first Golden Bachelorette since Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor and this week, an announcement revealed an official choice happened. Plenty of people opined their choices, and ABC fans also clamored for their favorites.
Golden Bachelorette Hopes & Predictions
Reality Steve, famous for insider information, predicted Gerry Turner’s runner-up, Leslie Fhima landed the role. However, he sat in the dark much like anyone else. And, the ABC execs seemed strong on secrecy with final choices. Actually, Leslie seems like a popular choice. Or, Faith Martin. However, many people felt that they might not select a lead from within the franchise.
The Golden Bachelorette prediction from the host, Jesse Palmer included any of the women from the ASKN group. If you do not know, they are April Kirkwood, Susan Noles, Kathy Swarts, and Nancy Hulkower. Actually, it was Susan Noles who officiated at Gerry Turner’s wedding. And she joked about violence if she lost out.

The Lead Is Officially Picked
Names like Kathie Lee Bishop came up in conversations about the first lead for senior women. Others included Meryl Streep, and Susan Lucci, who seems like a popular choice for members of the ABC audience. Well, the news that the lead was picked arrived via Playing the Field: A Bachelor Podcast. Ryan Field spoke with Jacqui Pitman, a casting agent during the episode titled “Breaking down week 7 of ‘The Bachelor’ as Hometowns loom.”
While the Golden Bachelorette lead has officially been chosen, Jacqui Pitman seemed tight-lipped. She said:
I can tell you nothing, but she’s amazing. I can’t tell you anything. Not until they announce who she is. You’ll all be sitting here watching it when I see it.

ABC fans took to the comments on Reddit when it was shared on that platform. For now, it’s back to a guessing game:

As for the official announcement of who was chosen, the consensus seems to be that it might happen during the final episode of Joey Graziadei’s The Bachelor.
