Fans Want Martha Stewart As ‘Golden Bachelorette’

Over the weekend, ABC officially confirmed The Golden Bachelorette is happening. What they didn’t confirm is who will get that coveted first leading role. While they haven’t shared those details yet, fans are already speculating and one name that keeps coming up is Martha Stewart. Keep reading to find out more.

Fans would love to see Martha Stewart as The Golden Bachelorette

After the big announcement from ABC that The Golden Bachelorette is officially a go, fans are already talking about who the lead will be. Of course, many are talking about the possibility of some of the women from The Golden Bachelor getting the role. However, some are looking at celebrities and one that stands out is Martha Stewart.

Martha is 82 and still looks amazing. In fact, she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Fans are saying they would love to see Martha take on the role of Golden Bachelorette. There has been talk of her possibly doing the show since last summer.

One fans said, “Martha Stewart – meanwhile….Snoop applies to be one the of bachelors.”

It has been rumored that fans are eyeing Susan Lucci who is 77 for the role. If it is not either of these women then it is most likely someone from Gerry Turner’s season. The fan favorite from the season seems to be Susan Noles, who also officiated The Golden Wedding. There are also a lot of fans who wouldn’t complain about Joan or Ellen being the lead.

However, most likely, the job could be given to Leslie Fhima or Faith Martin who finished second and third on Gerry’s season.

Would Martha do the show?

Last summer when Martha Stewart was first brought up to be a possible candidate for the Golden Bachelorette, she did comment it. She said she is very busy and really doesn’t have time to do a reality dating show.

However, she also didn’t outright say no. She did joke around that she would need to see the men first.

Time will tell who the producers will pick to be the first lead. Who would you like to see be offered the role of a lifetime? Would you want a celebrity, someone from the show or someone completely new?

Hopefully, ABC will announce who the lucky lady is sometime soon. According to Reality Steve, The Golden Bachelorette will begin filming right after The Bachelorette wraps up in May.
