‘Bachelorette’ Clare Crawley Talks About Surrogate Who Carried Baby Rowen
Clare Crawley wanted to be a mom, but the Bachelorette alum struggled to find love that lasted. Now that she welcomed her baby, Rowen Lilly with her husband, Ryan Dawkins, she is talking about her surrogate mom. It’s not the first time she talked about her, but it is the first time since her baby arrived.
Clare Crawley’s Baby Arrived On Time
When Ryan and his wife welcomed their baby in January, the little one was right on time. Bachelorette fans were so excited for her because she always believed that she was destined to raise children. Ryan has his own children from another relationship. But, they wanted one of theirs as well. All went well with the birth, and soon. the first photos started arriving on social media.
Clare Crawley started posting photos and she gushed about her love for their new addition to the family. Of course, she might not keep on sharing her baby. More recent photos reveal her child with her face cut out. But for now, Bachelorette fans just feel happy that their Bachelor Nation girl finally had a dream come true.
Bachelorette Alum Talks About Her Surrogate Mom
Bachelor Nation reported that in a recent Q&A, the ABC star told fans that they didn’t wait until after the birth of their baby to arrive at the hospital. Instead, they spent the night there. She said that they, “all stayed for about 24 hours.” So, it seemed as if three parents willed that all went well for Rowen. In fact, they slept “next door” while their surrogate recovered from the birth.
As for where Clare Crawley stands with her surrogate right now, it seems that everything is perfect. The outlet cited her as talking about “family.”
She is like family to us. I always want Rowen knowing her beautiful story of how she came to be.
So, it sounds as if the surrogate will be able to see Rowen as the years go by. Other questions that arrived involved the surrogate and how she must feel about giving up a baby. So, Clare pointed out, “This is why I love answering genuine surrogacy questions because many people just don’t understand it. She didn’t have to ‘give her up’ because she was never her baby to begin with. Surrogates go into surrogacy to help other families.”
As the surrogate lived in another state, when it came to taking Rowen home, the Bachelorette alum feared flying, and worried about “germs.” Well, they are safely home now, and they still “love” their surrogate very much.
