Understandably, there are a lot of fans who assume the network will pluck one of the contestants from the first season of Golden Bachelor to be the lead. Others, however, think there are just too many good choices. So, taking that approach could be messy.

In a new thread on Reddit, one fan speculates the network will go with someone completely new to the franchise. The individual clarifies there are just “too many choices” otherwise. This OP, however, does go on to speculate Leslie Fhima is the most likely choice if they decide to go with a familiar face.

Responding to the thread, there was one fan who speculated the network may be having trouble putting The Golden Bachelorette together. Are they having a hard time gathering enough older men to participate in the show? Here’s exactly what the fan said:
I’m starting to think there won’t be a Golden Bachelorette (perhaps because they can’t find enough quality older men who want to participate)
The individual added they hoped they were not right. Then, they noted it was possible the network would wait until after Joey’s season to make the announcement.

Fans of Bachelor Nation are in agreement they want a season of The Golden Bachelorette. Many agreed that The Golden Bachelor felt a lot more genuine than a lot of other shows in the franchise have for a while. So, they are hopeful the same concept with a female lead will have the same end result.
Alternatively, some fans believe the network could be looking at mothers of past contestants or leads of the franchise.

Two top contenders include Faith Martin or April Kirkwood. Fans, however, also recognize Susan and Ellen were popular during Gerry Turner’s season.

Ultimately, fans just hope the network comes through with providing a season of The Golden Bachelorette. Likewise, they hope it gets announced and the lead is revealed after Joey’s season airs.
